This is mljones.me, or perhaps I should just say, this is me. This is my passion, my skill, my work and my play. I have created this site to show my future employer my skills, not only in writing and editing, but in photography and design as well. Over a decade of media experience has taught me a lot, and what it hasn't I can learn very quickly. I thank you for visiting my site, and I hope you enjoy what you see here.
The year is nearly over, and may I say, thank goodness!
It's been a rough year. Job hunting, illness, losses here and there. It's hard to look back on this year and find the good stuff. But the good stuff is there.
I delved head-first into a new passion - photography. And I'm getting pretty good at it. I've even won a contest or two this year. That was great, but it's really about learning. I want to soak up as much as I can and use it every chance I get. I've even considered starting my own business shooting real estate photos for realtors. Who knows, it might happen. It's an option I have now thanks to a new passion and a new camera I scraped and saved to get so I would have that option. I've taken the first steps toward that option. We'll see where it goes.
